Oceans Apart

2020 - Oil Paint, Sand, Spray Glue - (3) 12” x 16”

Pam and I both love the ocean, which is kind of a challenge, considering we live at least 1000 miles from one. This painting was meant to evoke the sense of the tropical aqua blue water and sky with waves gently splashing in on the sandy beach. Pam actually helped paint some of the water, so her name is included on the signature in this painting. After completing the painting, I used spray glue and dusted the beach with actual sand.
