Beauty Beyond the Falls

This painting is a reflection of my life, and maybe yours. It's modeled off of the famous "Seljalandsfoss" waterfall located in Iceland, that allows visitors to actually walk behind the falls. My painting has three parts; the falls, the rocks, and the sunset reflection. In life, sometimes there are unexpected "waterfalls," that can cause our life to come crashing down on the rocks, resulting in us experiencing hurt, pain and loss. But over time, as the waters subside, allowing for a beautiful sunset to reflect off of the calm waters, so our lives can reflect beauty and grace, as a result of those difficult experiences. As an artist, my life now reflects - Beauty Beyond The Falls.
