A John Deere Spring

A John Deere Spring is from an actual customer event that I organized between a John Deere dealer and an Ag Service Provider. The concept of painting A John Deere Spring is the first in a – potential – future series of four paintings, where I will include one piece of John Deere Ag equipment in each season of use. This painting took over a year to complete and was a real challenge given both the sheer size and the mechanical details. I often think of all the effort that goes into a painting, as being equivalent to that of climbing a mountain. You can only accomplish it, by painting one brushstroke or climbing one step at a time, respectively. Eventually you’ll complete it, but both require tremendous perseverance, patience, and fortitude.
